Update

Nice one G, looking good.

Book format
After our crit with Gary on Monday, me and Joe looked further into the Photobox and Lulu websites. Gary had an example of a book he had got printed with Photobox and it looked pretty professional. There are different formats we can choose from and we both liked the idea that it is a standard format (like this blog) yet we would customise it in some way like Joe has with the layout of the blog. I was thinking we could screenprint 'four way' on the cover - giving a matt finish over the gloss cover. Something like this could work nice - what do you think? Also we can customise it more with things like folded pages, trimmed pages, screenprinting, hand painted, stuck in flyers (like a scrapbook) etc.

The pricing is fairly reasonable and the turn around suits us - max one week. It would be nice to design and produce our own books but this might be a better solution in the time frame considering we still have to shoot two more trips.

North Trip
We also discussed the final trip 'north'. Previously we had mentioned Coventry (centre of England) and Carlisle (furthest point north), but the fact we have been to mine and Pauls and will be staying at Joes is another angle we could take. Stansted was mentioned as a possible end point as it's north of London and it's basically the last place we can get to without leaving the country. Photos of us in the queue with our bags and mock tickets etc... or even better we just do one to Genoa and get G to cook us some straight up G shaped pasta.

Easy Jet to Milan will set us back about £90...and BA to Genoa is looking more like £135...
what do we reckon?
